Head of Talent Acquisition – Retail & FMCG

About the role

The Head of Talent Acquisition will design and lead the recruitment strategy for a fast‑growing retail, food‑and‑beverage and FMCG portfolio across the UAE and GCC. Reporting to the HR Director, you will build high‑volume hiring engines, executive search capabilities and a strong employer brand while delivering an excellent candidate experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a talent acquisition strategy that supports rapid expansion of retail, F&B and FMCG units.
• Lead, coach and measure a recruitment team against KPIs such as time‑to‑fill, cost‑per‑hire and quality‑of‑hire.
• Partner with C‑suite and department heads for workforce planning, budgeting and executive‑level hiring.
• Implement and optimise ATS and AI‑driven tools to improve efficiency and data integrity.
• Design high‑volume campaigns for new store openings and seasonal peaks.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of talent acquisition experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Deep knowledge of UAE labour law, GCC retail and FMCG talent markets, and workforce planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business; professional HR certification (CIPD, SHRM) preferred.
• Proven ability to influence senior leadership and drive change in hiring processes.

Required skills

• Experience with enterprise ATS platforms such as SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Workday or Greenhouse.
• Advanced HR analytics and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Use of AI‑driven recruitment and sourcing tools.
