About the role
The Heart of House Specialist supports essential hotel operations by maintaining cleanliness across kitchen, food & beverage, and laundry areas. This entry‑level position ensures guests enjoy spotless dining ware and fresh linens while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize kitchen, food‑and‑beverage, and laundry areas.
- Prepare and handle fresh linen and dining ware for guest use.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as dishwashers, hand‑wash stations, and linen washers/dryers.
- Transport dishware, linens, and other items throughout the hotel.
- Follow safety procedures, report accidents, and uphold uniform and appearance standards.
Required profile
- No specific education or prior experience required; high school diploma or equivalent is optional.
- Ability to lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 50 lb and stand, walk, or bend for extended periods.
Required skills
- Dishwashing machine operation.
- Linen washer and dryer operation.
