Heavy Bus Driver

About the role

An experienced and responsible Heavy Bus Driver is sought to safely transport employees between accommodation, project sites, offices and other designated locations. The position is full-time and requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate company heavy buses for employee transportation.
• Ensure timely pickup and drop-off of employees according to the assigned schedule.
• Follow all UAE traffic rules, regulations and RTA requirements, and maintain safe, defensive driving.
• Keep the bus clean, safe and in proper working condition.
• Conduct daily basic vehicle inspections and report defects or maintenance needs.
• Report accidents, breakdowns, traffic violations or other vehicle issues immediately.
• Maintain professional behaviour with employees, passengers and other road users, and follow management's routes and instructions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of heavy bus driving experience; previous UAE/GCC experience highly preferred.
• Valid UAE Heavy Bus Driving Licence (mandatory).
• Clean and safe driving record.
• Responsible, punctual, disciplined and reliable.
• Previous experience in construction, MEP or employee transportation is an advantage.

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of UAE traffic rules, regulations and road safety.
• Excellent knowledge of Dubai and UAE roads, routes and highways.
• Ability to choose the safest route for employee transportation.
• Good knowledge of vehicle safety and basic maintenance checks.
