Heavy Duty Driver (License 3 & 4)

About the role

Al Tayer Motors is looking for a Heavy Duty Driver with License 3 and 4 to transport vehicles from the docks to the pre-delivery centre and then to showrooms across the UAE. The driver must optimize routes and follow health and safety standards to protect themselves, the equipment and the goods being carried.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and clean the recovery vehicle daily and service it regularly according to manufacturer and company requirements.
• Collect vehicles from the docks and the PDI centre and deliver them to showrooms throughout the UAE.
• Follow the schedule set by the Fleet Coordinator.
• Load and unload vehicles following the correct procedures and safety standards, without damaging the vehicles, the recovery unit or the public.
• Inspect each vehicle for scratches and dents before loading and after unloading, record them on the collection/delivery document and obtain the customer's signature.
• Obey traffic rules and stay alert while driving to avoid accidents.
• Keep up to date with UAE roads and locations to choose the best routes.

Required profile

• Heavy Truck License (No. 4) and Light Vehicle License (No. 3).
• High School or "O" Level education.
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
