Home-Based Health & Safety Consultant – Birmingham Clients

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Health & Safety Consultant to work from home while supporting clients in the Birmingham area. The successful candidate will provide practical, sector‑spanning advice and help organisations improve compliance and manage risk.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts, maintaining strong relationships throughout the client lifecycle.
• Deliver tailored Health & Safety advice, risk assessments and compliance support to both existing and new clients.
• Coordinate site visits and administrative work, balancing client-facing time with dedicated report writing days.
• Act as Lead Consultant on designated accounts, ensuring consistent service delivery and documentation.
• Collaborate with the Client Experience team to schedule visits and meet contractual obligations.

Required profile

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Level 6 qualification.
• Proven experience providing Health & Safety consultancy across multiple sectors.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and progression towards Chartered status.
• Ability to work independently from a home office while delivering high‑quality service.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation.
• Familiarity with Fire Safety, CDM and ISO standards.
• Strong report writing and client documentation skills.
