Homeroom Teacher (August 2026)

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Homeroom Teachers to join Aldar Education’s network of schools in the UAE, starting August 2026. The role involves delivering inclusive, high‑quality lessons that inspire each student to achieve their best.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements and cater for the full ability range.
• Organise classroom resources, create displays and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Assess student progress using the Target Tracker system and provide feedback to parents.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, curriculum support staff and external professionals such as speech‑language therapists.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policy and promote a respectful community.
• Participate in parent‑teacher conferences and contribute to school‑wide initiatives.

Required profile

• Commitment to the school’s core values and an understanding of regional cultural values.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
• Reflective practice – regularly evaluate teaching methods and adapt plans accordingly.
• Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly within a team.

Required skills

• Clear understanding of the UAE curriculum.
• Proficiency in using assessment tools such as Target Tracker.
• Classroom management and behaviour management techniques.
