Homeroom Teacher (PYP)

About the role

The Millennium School is looking for a full-time Homeroom Teacher (PYP) in Dubai. The teacher creates an inspiring, inclusive and inquiry-driven classroom that supports the academic, social and personal development of primary students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging curriculum content
• Track individual student progress and provide actionable feedback
• Facilitate collaborative learning experiences
• Maintain regular communication with parents through conferences and updates
• Contribute to school-wide initiatives with colleagues, specialists and administration

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's preferred)
• Valid teaching license or professional certification
• PYP accreditation
• 2-3 years of teaching experience in a primary or PYP setting is highly desirable

Required skills

• Inquiry-based pedagogy tailored to the PYP curriculum
• Curriculum design and lesson planning
• Formative and summative student assessment
• Classroom management and collaborative teaching
