Hook-up & Brownfield Manager

About the role

KBR is seeking an experienced Hook-up & Brownfield Manager to lead planning, coordination and execution of offshore hook‑up and brownfield modification activities for a major offshore project. The role starts at the client or contractor office in Abu Dhabi and may later move to the offshore site.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall planning, coordination and execution of offshore hook‑up and brownfield activities.
• Develop and oversee execution strategies, construction sequencing and implementation plans.
• Coordinate offshore construction works including structural, piping, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and telecom.
• Review contractor methodologies, work packs, installation procedures and schedules.
• Manage interfaces between greenfield facilities and existing brownfield installations, ensuring proper tie‑ins and shutdown planning.
• Monitor EPC contractor performance, progress against schedule and resolve site queries, constraints and interface conflicts.
• Promote strong HSE leadership and ensure risk assessments and controls are incorporated.
• Participate in construction readiness, pre‑commissioning and commissioning reviews and handover of completed modifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Structural, Civil, Offshore Engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in offshore oil & gas projects, specifically brownfield modifications and hook‑up activities.
• Proven senior leadership experience overseeing offshore construction and brownfield execution.
• Experience with ADNOC or ADNOC offshore projects is highly desirable.
• Background in PMC/PMT and major EPC project environments preferred.
