HR Business Partner – Automotive & Trading

About the role

We are seeking an HR Business Partner to act as a trusted advisor to senior line management within our automotive and trading divisions. The role combines strategic HR planning with hands‑on execution to drive performance, meritocracy and diversity while ensuring compliance with Group policies and UAE labour law.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategy and annual plans, succession and retention programmes, and learning & development initiatives.
• Partner with the Group Training Department to deliver targeted training for high‑potential staff and conduct talent‑development committee meetings.
• Manage employee‑relations issues, advise managers on risk mitigation, and enforce HR policies and disciplinary procedures.
• Coach senior managers on people‑related matters, promote employee engagement and act as a change agent during restructures.
• Advise on workforce optimisation, support lean staffing models, and ensure compliance with localisation and productivity targets.
• Prepare financial reports on employee costs, lead annual manpower budgeting and present budget performance to board meetings.
• Monitor adherence to HR policies, address breaches promptly and champion Emiratization and diversification goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology or Business Management; CIPD qualification is desirable.
• Minimum five years of HR Generalist experience, including time as an HR Business Partner.
• Proven experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling abilities, with a track record of change‑management and organisational‑development projects.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and strategic thinking skills.
