HR Generalist – Talent Acquisition & Employee Relations

About the role

The HR Generalist will support Encore's people strategy by managing end‑to‑end talent acquisition, onboarding, learning & development, compensation, benefits, employee engagement and performance management. You will act as a trusted partner for managers and employees, ensuring HR processes are delivered consistently and in line with corporate standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all stages of talent acquisition, from job posting to selection, and coordinate with recruitment agencies as needed.
• Design and deliver onboarding programs and act as the primary contact for new hires.
• Maintain accurate talent acquisition records and reporting.
• Collaborate with the Centre of Excellence to meet compliance training requirements and deliver HR‑related training.
• Prepare payroll data, advise on salary structures, manage flight allowance rates and oversee group life and health insurance policies.
• Promote diversity, equity, inclusion and employee engagement initiatives, including surveys and recognition programs.
• Provide guidance on performance management, employee relations, disciplinary actions, grievances and terminations.
• Support the annual ITM process and manage HR project documentation, status updates and deadlines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in talent acquisition, onboarding, learning & development, compensation & benefits, employee engagement, performance management and HR project coordination.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, legal practices and best‑practice employee relations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with business leaders, recruitment teams and external providers.
