HR Intern – Recruitment & Employee Engagement

About the role

HMA Digital Marketing Services LLC is looking for an HR Intern in Dubai to support recruitment and employee engagement, with a focus on Arabic-speaking employees. The role covers sourcing candidates, screening applications, scheduling interviews, planning team activities and keeping records.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing Arabic-speaking candidates through job portals, social media and professional networks, and building a candidate database
• Reviewing resumes and applications, shortlisting candidates and conducting initial phone screenings in Arabic and English
• Scheduling interviews and coordinating with candidates and hiring managers
• Preparing and publishing job descriptions in Arabic and English on job boards and company platforms
• Planning monthly engagement activities and quarterly, half-yearly or annual team meet-ups for Arabic-speaking employees, including logistics, invitations and follow-up
• Facilitating communication and collaboration between Arabic-speaking employees, HR, team leads, managers and other departments
• Maintaining records of recruitment and engagement activities and preparing regular summaries

Required profile

• Graduate or postgraduate; freshers are welcome
• Native or fluent Arabic speaker
• Good written and verbal English
• Interest in HR, recruitment and employee engagement
• Comfortable working remotely with colleagues across different locations and schedules

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Organizational, collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, follow timelines and pay attention to detail
