HSE Engineer - DEWA Approved (Substation Projects)

About the role

Careers International is looking for an experienced HSE Engineer with strong site safety experience on substation and construction projects. The position is based in Dubai, UAE, and DEWA substation approval is mandatory.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE procedures at project sites
• Conduct site inspections, safety audits and risk assessments
• Monitor safe working practices and compliance
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions
• Investigate incidents and prepare HSE reports
• Ensure compliance with project and DEWA safety requirements
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants and DEWA representatives

Required profile

• Engineering qualification in a relevant discipline
• Relevant HSE experience in construction or substation projects
• Valid DEWA Substation Approval (mandatory)
• UAE project experience preferred

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of site safety, risk assessment and HSE procedures
• Good understanding of UAE construction safety requirements
