HSE Manager – Offshore Project (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

The HSE Manager will lead and manage all Health, Safety and Environmental activities for a major ADNOC offshore project, ensuring compliance with ADNOC requirements, project HSE plans, regulatory obligations and approved safe working practices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee implementation of the overall Project HSE Management Program.
• Develop, review and implement project‑specific HSE plans, procedures and programs.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC Offshore HSE requirements, project requirements and regulatory obligations.
• Provide visible HSE leadership and promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project.
• Review and assess EPC Contractor and subcontractor HSE plans, procedures and performance.
• Establish and monitor project HSE objectives, targets and KPIs, analysing performance data and trends.
• Lead HSE risk management activities, including development and implementation of Risk Assessment Management Systems (RAMS).
• Participate in and review Risk Assessments, Job Safety Analyses and Permit‑to‑Work processes.
• Lead and participate in HSE audits, inspections and incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are closed.
• Interface with Client HSE representatives, EPC Contractors and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Extensive experience as an HSE Manager on major offshore EPC projects, preferably within ADNOC Offshore.
• Strong exposure to offshore construction, platforms, subsea facilities and related activities.
• Experience in client‑side or PMC environments and managing contractor HSE performance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
