Site Structural Inspector

About the role

The Structural Inspector will oversee all structural works on site, ensuring they meet approved drawings, specifications, codes and quality standards. This position focuses on theme‑park and entertainment projects, requiring expertise in complex steel and concrete structures.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of foundations, piles, slabs, beams, columns, retaining walls, precast elements and structural steel works.
• Verify compliance with IFC drawings, shop drawings, method statements and contract requirements.
• Inspect reinforcement, witness concrete placement, sampling, testing and curing.
• Review and inspect structural steel fabrication, erection, welding and bolted connections.
• Monitor temporary works, shoring, falsework and scaffolding.
• Maintain inspection records, NCRs, IRs and quality documentation.
• Participate in progress meetings and support snagging, substantial completion and handover activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in construction supervision consultancy.
• Proven experience inspecting reinforced concrete and structural steel works on themed entertainment projects.
• Familiarity with UAE building regulations and international standards.
