Human Resources Intern

About the role

Jumeirah Beach Hotel, a founding property of Jumeirah in Dubai, is looking for an intern in Human Resources. The role supports the onboarding of new employees and helps colleagues understand HR policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing the onboarding process: file documents, request recruitment clearance, obtain reference checks, issue contracts, coordinate with Government affairs on visas, arrange flights, start dates and accommodation.
• Answer candidates' questions about onboarding.
• Inform colleagues about HR-related company policies.
• Ensure Jumeirah ID cards and medical cards for new joiners are received and distributed efficiently.
• Help with internal communication and maintain noticeboards.
• Assist in organizing colleague engagement events throughout the year.

Required profile

• On-the-job training experience in an operational department.
• Administrative or office experience.
• Hotel operations experience.
• Middle East experience.
