Implementation Consultant - SDx/SDx2

About the role

Octave is hiring an Implementation Consultant in Dubai to set up, install, configure, customise and integrate SDx/SDx2 applications and work-process designs for clients' purchased or outsourced technology and business-outcome solutions. The consultant works as part of a project team to deliver high-quality implementation and integration results, with strong onsite presence, adaptability and cultural awareness. Experience in the Middle East is preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the Technical Lead and Project Manager to align on tasks and deliver projects on time.
• Support on-site and remote client activities, including access setup, scheduling and follow-ups.
• Help organise and track SDV/DTO mapping, data migration from third-party EDMS systems, SDx/SDx2 and design-tool integrations, and content extraction from 2D and 3D models.
• Coordinate with technical teams on third-party system integration deliverables (APIs, interfaces), industry-standard work processes and client-contractor collaboration, and track progress against plan.
• Support testing and validation by organising sessions, documenting outcomes and following up on action items.
• Track and document issues and defects, escalate them to product and engineering teams, and capture client feedback for continuous improvement.
• Maintain project documentation such as functional requirements, design documents and lessons learned.
• Prepare test scripts and run factory acceptance tests, and coordinate training sessions and their materials.
• Support pre-sales activities such as demo logistics and workshops, route support requests and track their resolution.

Required profile

• Degree in a related field.
• Experience with SPID, SI, SEL and S3D systems and engineering work processes.
• Excellent knowledge of SDx2, Integration 2.0 and SIO mappings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; onsite presence expected.
