Inclusion Assistant for Seer Bani Yas Charter School

About the role

Aldar Education is looking for an Inclusion Assistant to join Seer Bani Yas Charter School in Abu Dhabi for the academic year 2026/27. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and specialists to support pupils with additional learning, physical, emotional or behavioural needs, enabling them to fully engage in classroom and extracurricular activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and group support for pupils inside and outside the classroom to facilitate full participation.
• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of Individual Education Programme (IEP) goals.
• Support pupils with academic, physical, emotional and behavioural difficulties and help develop social and communication skills.
• Prepare and adapt learning resources to differentiate the curriculum.
• Maintain accurate pupil records in collaboration with homeroom and subject teachers.
• Promote independence by teaching clear strategies and encouraging self‑advocacy.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, school code of conduct and relevant legislation.
• Attend training sessions, professional meetings and work with speech therapists, occupational therapists and other specialists as required.
• Maintain confidentiality in all communications with parents and staff.
• Monitor and correct pupil work, keep students on task, and provide positive reinforcement and progress reports to teachers.
