Inclusion Teacher – Immediate Start

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an outstanding Inclusion Teacher for Al Rayana Charter School, an American‑curriculum primary school in the heart of Abu Dhabi. The role starts immediately and focuses on delivering high‑quality, inclusive lessons that inspire all learners to achieve their best outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements and cater for the full ability range within the class.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, curriculum support staff and external professionals such as speech‑language therapists, occupational therapists and educational psychologists.
• Assess and record student progress using Target Tracker, analyse data to inform planning and provide feedback to parents at conferences.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policy, fostering a positive, motivated learning environment.
• Participate in curriculum action groups, school events, outings and weekly extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education with PGCE or equivalent teacher qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an inclusive setting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
• Commitment to the school’s core values, regional cultural appreciation and collaborative ethos.

Required skills

• Clear understanding of the American primary curriculum.
• Ability to organise classroom resources and create engaging learning displays.
• Experience using assessment tools and data‑driven planning.
• Proficiency in liaising with multidisciplinary teams to support student development.
