About the role

The Insurance Sales Executive / Associate promotes insurance products, builds customer relationships and drives policy sales. The role balances lead generation, client consultation and after‑sales support to meet individual and team targets.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell a range of insurance products to new and existing customers.
• Identify client needs and recommend suitable coverage solutions.
• Generate leads through referrals, networking, online channels and business development activities.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and application documents, explaining coverage, premiums and terms.
• Follow up with prospects and existing clients to convert opportunities and ensure policy renewals.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and produce sales reports, forecasts and performance updates.
• Coordinate with insurers, underwriters, brokers and internal teams.
• Identify cross‑selling and upselling opportunities while staying informed on market trends and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Previous experience in insurance or sales is preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Customer‑focused, results‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Excellent organization, time‑management and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CRM systems.
• Familiarity with digital sales platforms and AI‑assisted sales tools.
