Interface Engineer - Flare & Emission Reduction Project

About the role

Careers International is seeking an experienced Interface Engineer to oversee and manage technical and non-technical interfaces on a high-impact EPC project focused on flare minimization and carbon emissions reduction, in line with ADNOC's sustainability goals. The role is based in Dubai and is full time.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an Interface Management Plan (IMP) and Interface Register, identifying critical dependencies across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning teams, and define interface scopes and responsibilities using RACI matrices.
• Act as the single point of contact for interface queries among engineering disciplines, vendors, contractors, clients and regulators, and resolve conflicts between work packages.
• Review IFC drawings, engineering documents and equipment layouts to confirm alignment across stakeholders and ensure tie-ins, battery limits and routing are correctly integrated into discipline designs.
• Identify interface risks, engage parties on mitigation measures and support change management on schedule, cost and technical scope.
• Update interface logs, weekly reports and KPIs, and take part in internal and client progress reviews.
• Ensure interface activities meet ADNOC HSE standards and take part in constructibility and HAZID/HAZOP workshops.
• Make sure interface solutions support project emission reduction targets, including flare system optimization and energy efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Instrumentation or related field).
• Minimum 8-10 years of EPC experience, preferably on ADNOC or major offshore projects.
• Proven experience in interface management within flare systems, utility integration or low-emission design.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, communication and coordination skills.
