A British National curriculum school in Abu Dhabi seeks a professional, adaptable, and passionate Primary Teacher to deliver engaging learning experiences for Emirati and expatriate students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective lessons aligned with curriculum guidelines.
• Support students in developing reading, writing, speaking, and critical‑thinking skills.
• Use varied instructional methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Assess student learning through assignments, projects, and examinations.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to support continuous academic growth.
• Build a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and instructional practices.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
• Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student development.
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education or related subject.
• Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or B.Ed).
• Previous experience within Primary education.
• Strong understanding of English curriculum standards and assessment practices.
• Excellent communication and classroom‑management skills.
• Ability to adapt to a new cultural and professional environment.
• Commitment to fostering respect for local customs and cultural values.

Required skills

• Teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed) and primary education experience.
