About the role

GEMS Al Barsha National School is seeking an enthusiastic Islamic Studies Teacher to join its vibrant faculty in Dubai. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, foster a deep understanding of Islamic heritage, and support the holistic development of students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver Islamic Studies curriculum in line with school standards.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross‑curricular themes and promote a cohesive learning environment.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions and school events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies from a recognized university (distance or open‑university degrees are not accepted).
• All academic certificates must be duly attested.
• Strong belief that every student can achieve high performance and a passion for nurturing that potential.
• Relevant teaching experience that contributes to an enriched curriculum programme.
