About the role

The company seeks an experienced Key Account Manager to drive new customer development, acquire key accounts, and manage existing relationships within the utility renewable energy sector in Dubai. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure sales growth, customer satisfaction, and market expansion.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop new customer relationships and acquire key accounts in the utility renewable energy sector.
  • Take full ownership of assigned key account customers, ensuring their needs are met and relationships are maintained.
  • Lead negotiations and provide support at the C‑level with utilities, investors, developers, and EPCs.
  • Identify and analyse customer requirements, aligning them with company offerings.
  • Achieve key account sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
  • Collaborate with solution engineering to ensure customer requirements are addressed in product development and service delivery.
  • Present new products and services to key accounts, positioning the company as a market leader.
  • Monitor industry trends and conduct market analysis to drive sales growth.
  • Develop innovative sales strategies to capture new business opportunities.
  • Manage and coordinate subordinate account managers to achieve company goals.

Required profile

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the utility renewable energy sector in Dubai, with at least 5 years in the solar utility business.
  • Proven track record of acquiring and managing key accounts.
  • Fluent in spoken and written business English; additional languages are advantageous.
  • Extensive experience working with utilities, investors, developers, and EPCs.
  • Strong background in contract negotiations with senior and C‑level executives.
  • Professional demeanor with attention to detail and ability to work remotely.

Required skills

  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills with senior and C‑level executives.
  • Deep knowledge of the solar utility industry and renewable energy market.
  • Fluent business English (additional languages a plus).
