L2 Desktop Support Engineer

About the role

Excis Compliance Ltd. is seeking an experienced Level 2 End‑User Computing Engineer to provide reliable onsite IT support across its Dubai office. You will be responsible for ensuring a seamless experience for end‑users, including VIP and executive staff, by diagnosing and resolving a wide range of technical issues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 onsite support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, applications and other end‑user devices.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, OS, and connectivity problems, including LAN, WAN, WLAN and VPN issues.
• Perform hardware replacements, device swaps, break‑fix repairs and equipment upgrades.
• Configure and deploy devices (BIOS, OS, drivers, encryption, VPN, authentication) and manage imaging, IMAC, refresh and decommissioning activities.
• Support Microsoft Windows, Apple macOS, enterprise applications, file/print services and meeting‑room AV equipment.
• Maintain accurate IT asset records, manage service tickets and coordinate with OEMs and third‑party vendors.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Level 2 End‑User Computing or desktop support, preferably with VIP/executive support.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, operating systems and network connectivity.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Windows, Apple macOS and Active Directory environments.
• Familiarity with ITSM ticketing systems and incident/request management.
• Excellent communication, customer‑service orientation and willingness to travel between client locations with a valid driving licence.
