Land Surveyor

About the role

Careers International is hiring a Land Surveyor in Dubai for a full-time position in the construction sector. The surveyor carries out field surveys, prepares accurate documentation and coordinates with site teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform topographic, boundary, leveling and layout surveys using Total Station, GPS, Auto Level and other instruments
• Establish horizontal and vertical control points and benchmarks
• Conduct as-built surveys and prepare accurate documentation for approvals
• Prepare survey reports, coordinate calculations and digital survey files, and process data into CAD drawings with draftsmen
• Maintain accurate site measurement records and logs
• Set out foundations, alignments, levels, utilities and structural elements according to approved drawings
• Identify discrepancies between design drawings and site conditions and report them
• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, subcontractors and project teams
• Maintain, calibrate and safely handle surveying instruments, troubleshooting issues and recommending repairs or replacements

Required profile

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or Surveying
• 2-5 years of experience in construction or infrastructure projects; UAE experience preferred
• Immediate joiner required

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with Total Station (Leica/Trimble preferred), GPS and Auto Level
• Sound knowledge of construction drawings and survey principles
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently on site, with strong problem-solving and communication skills
