Lead Land Test

About the role

The Land Test Team Lead will plan, design and lead complex land‑based test and evaluation activities at Abu Al Abyad Test Range and other assigned locations. Working closely with clients, test specialists, engineers and technicians, the Lead ensures that defence‑related testing programmes are executed safely, efficiently and in line with technical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and design test programmes for arena, static rocket, engine, insensitive ammunition qualification and mine‑resistance testing.
• Oversee execution of testing activities, ensuring compliance with safety and technical requirements.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to define test objectives and schedules.
• Manage on‑site test personnel and supervise mobile instrumentation deployments.
• Ensure accurate data capture, analysis and reporting for all test events.

Required profile

• Degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience in land‑based test and evaluation, preferably in defence or aerospace sectors.
• Strong knowledge of safety and security procedures for secure test facilities.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with clients.
