Lead Neonatologist – NICU Excellence in Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Consultant Neonatologist to lead the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at a premier hospital in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide expert care for critically ill newborns, drive clinical excellence, and mentor junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat newborns with complex medical conditions, including premature births and congenital disorders.
• Oversee NICU patient management, ensuring optimal care, recovery, and safety.
• Perform advanced neonatal procedures such as ventilation management and resuscitation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including pediatricians, nurses, and specialists.
• Provide consultative services for high‑risk pregnancies and neonatal cases.
• Lead clinical research, teaching, and quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection‑control standards, and patient‑safety protocols.
• Offer on‑call emergency coverage and support to junior medical staff.

Required profile

• Medical Doctor (MD) degree or equivalent.
• Board certification in Neonatal‑Perinatal Medicine.
• 5–10 years of experience in a tertiary‑care NICU.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making abilities.
• DHA/MOH/HAAD Consultant License (preferred).
