Legal Manager – Middle East

About the role

The Legal Manager will provide business‑oriented legal guidance across JTI’s Middle East Cluster, ensuring compliance with local laws, corporate policies and international regulations while supporting sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel and support to internal stakeholders across multiple functions and markets.
• Research, monitor and assess local legislation and regulatory developments.
• Draft, review, negotiate and manage commercial agreements and legal documentation.
• Partner with the Legal Director on contractual, sales, distribution and promotional matters.
• Develop and deliver legal compliance and policy training.
• Coordinate with external counsel and manage regulatory and business project matters.
• Oversee contract management processes, legal reporting and governance initiatives.

Required profile

• Law degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm or multinational corporation.
• Expertise in international business transactions, contracts, trade, distribution and competition/antitrust law.
• Fluency in written and spoken English; Arabic is a strong asset.
• Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a multicultural, complex business environment.
