About the role
We are seeking a Lifeguard to ensure the safety of guests at both the beach and pool areas of our resort. The role involves monitoring swimmers, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
Key responsibilities
- Use appropriate rescue techniques to assist swimmers in distress.
- Monitor the beach and pool areas for hazardous conditions and unsafe activities.
- Enforce facility rules and promote a safe, enjoyable environment for guests.
- Provide first‑aid assistance to injured guests until emergency services arrive.
- Maintain cleanliness by folding and stacking towels, and cleaning the pool deck.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management promptly.
- Ensure personal appearance and uniform are clean and professional at all times.
- Perform physical duties such as lifting, moving, and navigating slippery surfaces as required.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Current CPR certification.
- Current First Aid certification.
- Any additional certifications or training required by local or state authorities.
