Lifting Supervisor

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lifting Supervisor with a proven track record in the industry, ensuring successful execution of projects for a high‑profile client. The role involves overseeing all lifting operations on‑site, guaranteeing safety, compliance, and efficiency in line with ADNOC standards and project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all lifting operations on‑site, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency according to ADNOC standards.
• Conduct risk assessments, implement control measures, and ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor condition and maintenance of lifting equipment, ensuring inspections and servicing are up to date.
• Lead and supervise a team of riggers, crane operators, and other lifting personnel, providing training and guidance.
• Develop, review, and implement detailed lifting plans, securing necessary approvals before execution.
• Coordinate lifting activities with other construction tasks and liaise with site managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Document incidents or near‑misses, conduct investigations, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain all required lifting documentation, including inspection records, permits, and licenses.
• Provide regular status reports to the project manager, highlighting risks, concerns, or delays.

Required profile

• Recognized certification in lifting operations (e.g., Lifting Supervisor Course or Crane Operations Safety Course).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience supervising lifting operations in the construction industry.
• Extensive experience with cranes, hoisting equipment, rigging and lifting techniques.
• Familiarity with Abu Dhabi and UAE safety regulations related to lifting operations.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations, risk assessment processes, and compliance.
