Line Operations Supervisor – Dubai

About the role

OBT Group, a leading shipping and logistics provider, is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join its Shipping department in Dubai. • Review and prioritise high volumes of operational communication, ensuring urgent and high‑risk matters are identified and acted on quickly.
• Investigate issues, gather supporting evidence, follow up on missing information and drive actions through to resolution.
• Review shipping documentation and operational records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with company procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of direct experience within a shipping line or liner agency environment.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end liner shipping and agency operations.
• Demonstrated ability to assess operational issues, identify critical risks and make sound escalation decisions independently.
• Good commercial awareness and ability to identify invoice discrepancies.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with the Magic Port operational system (advantageous).
