Marine Advisor

About the role

The Marine Advisor will act as the company's marine representative for ADNOC Offshore Logistics, providing expert guidance on offshore marine and HSE matters. The role supports offshore lifts, installations, and ensures compliance with ADNOC offshore standards.

Key responsibilities

• Witness and monitor marine operations associated with offshore lifts and installation activities.
• Monitor and resolve contractor deviations from approved marine procedures and quality standards.
• Advise marine personnel on equipment standards, procedures, and requirements for offshore construction.
• Ensure anchor positions and wire tension remain within approved parameters and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide technical and practical marine advice to contractor’s key marine staff.
• Verify that all marine operation documents comply with ADNOC Offshore standards.
• Prepare and submit reports related to marine services.
• Participate in emergency management, investigate marine incidents, and recommend preventive actions.
• Implement HSE marine rules and monitor weather forecasts and navigation warnings for safe operations.
• Coordinate with company operations and logistics to discuss marine operational issues and seek technical advice.
• Monitor other contractors’ marine operations that may impact the project.
• Conduct marine vessel inspections and close‑out when required.
• Communicate HSE incidents promptly and maintain liaison with MCC and PPA during vessel movements.
