Mason – Luxury Hotel Maintenance

About the role

We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Raffles The Palm as we are currently looking for a Mason, reporting to the Engineering Supervisor / Duty Engineer. The Mason will carry out a variety of masonry, construction, repair and maintenance tasks across the property, ensuring high standards and compliance with safety, quality and operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform masonry work on walls, floors and other structures as directed.
• Repair wall plaster, renderings and tile work, both interior and exterior.
• Erect new walls and demolish existing walls according to supervisor instructions.
• Lay new tiles and maintain existing tile installations.
• Respond promptly to health‑and‑safety work requests and guest service requests.

Required profile

• High school graduate with a related technical or trades certification.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a civil technician, preferably in the hospitality or engineering environment.
• Proficient in masonry refurbishment and basic knowledge of another building‑operations skill set.
• Ability to read shop drawings and specifications and make rough material estimates.
