About the role

Dubai American Academy, GEMS Education’s flagship American‑curriculum school, is seeking an enthusiastic High School Mathematics Teacher to start immediately. You will join a highly rated, internationally accredited community and help maintain its reputation for academic excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, interactive mathematics lessons to high‑school students in line with the school’s curriculum and standards.
• Design and implement creative teaching strategies that inspire curiosity and critical thinking.
• Collaborate with colleagues to foster a supportive learning environment and ensure curriculum continuity.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and maintain an inclusive classroom culture.
• Participate in parent‑teacher conferences and communicate student progress effectively.
• Contribute to extracurricular enrichment and ongoing professional learning initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Education or a relevant degree plus a teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, State License) specializing in Mathematics.
• Proven experience teaching IB Math or Common Core Math at the high‑school level, preferably in an American or IB curriculum school.
• Strong knowledge of inquiry‑based learning and practical mathematics instruction.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
