Mechanical Technician

About the role

A client's company in Dubai is looking for a Mechanical Technician. The ideal candidate has hands-on knowledge of mechanical systems, maintenance, troubleshooting and equipment operation, with a strong focus on safety and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out inspection, maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Identify mechanical faults and coordinate repairs and corrective actions.
• Monitor equipment performance and support preventive maintenance.
• Assist with installation, servicing and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Prepare basic maintenance reports and keep technical documentation up to date.
• Coordinate with technicians and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow company safety procedures and technical standards.
• Support continuous improvement of equipment reliability and maintenance processes.

Required profile

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related trade.
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance.
• Good understanding of mechanical equipment, tools and maintenance procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; good communication and organisational skills.
• UAE experience is preferred.
