Media Manager, MENA

About the role

WPP Media, the AI-driven media operating unit of WPP, is looking for a Media Manager in Dubai. The role leads the strategic development and execution of media campaigns across digital and traditional platforms to drive brand growth, audience engagement and revenue. It covers large-scale media budgets, manages media teams and works with cross-functional departments so that media strategies align with overall marketing goals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify target audiences and choose the best media mix (digital, print, TV, OOH, radio, social).
• Develop media strategies with senior leadership, aligned with product launches, brand campaigns and promotional events.
• Oversee large-scale campaigns from planning to execution across all channels.
• Manage in-house media buying and coordinate with external agencies.
• Monitor media plans against real-time performance data and adjust strategies to optimise budget use.
• Present campaign results and strategic recommendations to clients.
• Guide the media team, coach junior members and refine reporting procedures.
• Work in alignment with Trading, Social, Web Analytics, Paid Search and SEO.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of experience in client-facing roles and campaign management.
• Experience creating cross-media plans that meet client goals, with a solid understanding of paid media channels, including performance-based ones.
• Strong track record in campaign performance management, using analytics and optimisation to improve KPIs.
• Ability to identify new opportunities for clients proactively.

Required skills

• Strategic planning and client-facing presentations, including PowerPoint decks.
• Understanding of media performance and digital campaign set-ups.
• Ability to coach junior team members and report on results.
