Medical Science Liaison - Gulf Region

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will be the scientific voice for Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) products across the Gulf region. Based in Dubai, the role is field‑based with at least 50% travel to the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait and Oman, supporting key stakeholders and the commercial team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide medical and scientific expertise on ADC products and therapeutic areas to healthcare professionals and thought leaders.
• Facilitate scientific exchange, professional development, and collaborative research with external experts.
• Support the commercial team with credible medical information and respond to unsolicited medical inquiries.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of ADC products, diabetes care advancements, and regional market dynamics.
• Contribute to scientific publications, research projects, and evidence generation activities.

Required profile

• Minimum of 24 months (2 years) experience in medical affairs, medical community management, or a related scientific field.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Gulf region.
• Strong communication skills to engage with healthcare providers and thought leaders.
