MEP Coordinator – Large‑Scale Oil & Gas EPC Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced MEP Coordinator to lead mechanical, electrical and plumbing activities on large‑scale Oil & Gas EPC projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves integrating MEP work with civil, structural and architectural disciplines while ensuring compliance with codes, standards and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all MEP activities, reviewing drawings and specifications to guarantee constructability and compliance.
• Develop, monitor and maintain MEP schedules aligned with overall project milestones, identifying and mitigating schedule risks.
• Monitor installation quality, conduct inspections, and oversee testing, commissioning and system validation.
• Manage procurement, delivery and storage of MEP materials and equipment, ensuring material availability and efficient resource deployment.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for MEP matters, preparing progress updates, technical reports and risk assessments for stakeholders.
• Handle contractor and vendor performance, resolve technical and contractual issues, and lead pre‑commissioning, commissioning and hand‑over activities.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in MEP coordination, construction or project management on Oil & Gas, Power, Marine or Industrial EPC projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage material procurement, contractor coordination and project execution in a multidisciplinary environment.
