Mortgage Team Leader

About the role

Arab Bank is looking for a Mortgage Team Leader to lead and manage its mortgage direct sales team. The role focuses on achieving sales targets while delivering high-quality customer service, and covers coaching, training, performance monitoring and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the mortgage direct sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver high-quality customer service.
• Develop, implement and monitor sales strategies and action plans for mortgage products.
• Coach, mentor and train team members on mortgage products, sales techniques and compliance requirements.
• Oversee the end-to-end mortgage sales process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of applications and approvals.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, credit and operations teams on product launches, campaigns and process improvements.
• Monitor individual and team performance, give regular feedback and run performance improvement plans.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, risk standards and internal policies.
• Prepare and present sales reports, pipeline updates and forecasts to management.
• Resolve escalated customer issues and support a customer-centric sales culture.
• Drive digital adoption and continuous improvement in the mortgage sales function.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or a related field.
• Professional certifications in sales, mortgage lending or banking preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mortgage sales, retail banking or direct sales, with experience in banking or financial services.
• Proven track record of leading sales teams and achieving results.
