Network Technical Sales Engineer

About the role

Careers International is recruiting a Network Technical Sales Engineer in Dubai. The role combines technical expertise on network cabling test tools, datacentre testing equipment and network infrastructure diagnostics with pre- and post-sales support, and collaboration with the sales team to deliver tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver product demonstrations, training sessions and presentations on network cabling test tools, datacentre testing equipment and network infrastructure diagnostics.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales support: answer customer queries, match specifications, interpret test results and recommend solutions.
• Assist with equipment setup, commissioning and calibration of network and datacentre test and measurement tools where applicable.
• Monitor technology trends in network test equipment, datacentre infrastructure and testing methodologies and give feedback to internal teams.
• Work with the sales team to identify customer needs, tailor solutions and contribute to proposals and quotations.
• Run on-site visits, customer workshops, seminars and webinars on best-practice test methodologies and emerging technologies.
• Represent the company at trade shows and exhibitions, and build relationships with distributors and channel partners.
• Keep records of engagements, demonstrations and training, update management on the technical sales pipeline and coordinate with product, marketing and service teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in network cable testing, datacentre infrastructure, network test tools or related fields.
• Willingness to travel regionally and internationally for customer visits and trade shows.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, able to work independently and collaborate across functions.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of network cabling systems, datacentre environments and network test equipment.
• Familiarity with tools such as Fluke Networks or equivalent is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex topics to non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, report writing and customer documentation.
