Offset Printing Machine Operator

About the role

Virgo Packaging is looking for an experienced Offset Printing Machine Operator with hands‑on experience operating a Heidelberg PM74 offset printing machine. The candidate should be able to independently set up, operate, monitor, and maintain the machine while ensuring consistent print quality and efficient production.

Key responsibilities

• Operate Heidelberg PM74 offset printing machine.
• Machine setup, plate mounting and job changeovers.
• Ink and colour adjustment / colour matching.
• Registration and print‑quality control.
• Monitor paper feeding, printing and delivery.
• Reduce wastage and maintain production efficiency.
• Identify and troubleshoot printing/machine issues.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic machine maintenance.
• Follow production specifications and approved samples.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.

Required profile

• Previous hands‑on experience with Heidelberg PM74 is required.
• Strong knowledge of offset printing processes.
• Experience with colour matching and print registration.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to print quality and detail.
• Experience in packaging/printing production preferred.
• UAE experience is preferred.
