Offshore Operations Support Coordinator

About the role

The Offshore Operations Support Coordinator ensures that all materials required for offshore projects are transported, cleared and delivered in full compliance with customs regulations, company procedures and project requirements across Saudi Arabia, the UAE and other international locations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and submit all customs documentation for import, export and re‑export of offshore materials, ensuring accuracy of invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, HS code classifications and SABER/SASO requirements.
• Maintain document control and records in line with UAE and other countries’ customs regulations, and monitor changes to customs laws to inform logistics teams.
• Act as the primary liaison between NMDC Energy, customs brokers, freight forwarders, port authorities and government agencies, resolving queries, holds and discrepancies efficiently.
• Track temporary imports, manage re‑export timelines, and ensure timely closure of temporary import files to avoid penalties.
• Prepare regular status reports on shipments, customs clearance and documentation issues, and support audit and project close‑out activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent in a related field with a minimum of six years of experience in customs and offshore logistics.
• Familiarity with offshore operations logistics procedures, especially Saudi Customs laws, ZATCA, SABER, SASO and COOs requirements.
• Strong computer proficiency and ability to produce accurate written reports in English.
