People & Culture Executive

About the role

Viola Communications is seeking a People & Culture Executive to manage end‑to‑end people operations for its Purple Exhibitions department. You will act as the primary liaison between on‑ground exhibition and manufacturing teams and the Head Office, ensuring smooth HR processes and a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle recruitment for operational, technical, and support positions.
• Partner with department heads on workforce planning and hiring needs.
• Coordinate onboarding and deliver a seamless new‑hire experience.
• Manage temporary workforce requirements and liaise with external manpower agencies.
• Monitor workforce utilisation, headcount, and HR metrics to support business decisions.
• Serve as first point of contact for employee relations, providing guidance and resolving workplace issues.
• Oversee attendance, timekeeping, overtime, and payroll inputs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law, maintain HR records, and support HR audits and reporting.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a values‑driven workplace culture.
• Manage off‑boarding processes, including exit formalities, clearances, and handovers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in a People & Culture or HR role.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, production, exhibitions, or project‑based environments is highly preferred.
• Experience handling both blue‑collar and white‑collar employees.
• Experience coordinating with head office or group HR teams is an advantage.
• Good understanding of HR operations: attendance, leave, payroll coordination, and documentation.
• Knowledge of UAE labour laws and HR compliance practices.
