People & Culture Manager

About the role

Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort is looking for an experienced People & Culture Manager to join its People & Culture team. Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, the role supports the resort's people strategy and oversees key HR operations across the employee lifecycle, working closely with department leaders on talent acquisition, workforce planning, engagement, performance management, learning and development, succession planning and team member welfare.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Director of People & Culture in delivering the resort's People & Culture strategy and objectives.
• Partner with department heads on manpower planning, recruitment, talent development and organisational effectiveness.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management and succession planning processes.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives, recognition programmes and action plans from team member surveys.
• Support learning and development, leadership development programmes and career progression opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law, company policies and Minor Hotels standards.
• Oversee visa coordination, accommodation standards, employee welfare programmes and related team member services.
• Monitor HR metrics, payroll processes and workforce planning, and foster an inclusive, high-performance workplace.
• Act as a trusted partner to operational leaders on all people-related matters.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a People & Culture Manager, Assistant Director of HR or senior HR professional in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and hospitality HR practices.
• Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, engagement, learning and development and performance management.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Passion for creating exceptional team member experiences and developing future talent.
