About the role
GEMS World Academy Dubai is seeking a passionate Physics Teacher to join its Science department in January 2027. The role involves delivering the IB Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme to a diverse, international student body.
Key responsibilities
- Teach secondary Physics to students across the IB curriculum.
- Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the IB Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme frameworks.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support learning outcomes.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Education or a degree plus a relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, PGDE or equivalent) in Physics.
- Minimum three years of experience teaching secondary Physics, preferably within the IB curriculum.
- Commitment to the IB Learner Profile values and ability to work in a culturally diverse, non‑selective community.
