Physiotherapist – Hospital Rehabilitation

About the role

Physiotherapists treat patients with physical difficulties resulting from illness, injury, disability or ageing. They work closely with individuals of all ages to assess movement, develop treatment programmes and promote health and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients to identify physical problems and design or revise treatment plans.
• Provide manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and use specialised equipment such as IDD therapy.
• Assist patients with joint and spinal issues, especially post‑surgery, and support rehabilitation after accidents, injury or stroke.
• Document case notes, compile patient statistics and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
• Educate patients and caregivers on injury prevention and condition management.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to staff education programmes.
• Maintain physiotherapy equipment, coordinate supply orders and uphold safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Graduate in Physiotherapy from an approved institution with a valid DHA licence to practice in Dubai.
• Minimum two years of experience in Physical Medicine.
• Excellent oral and written English; Arabic is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a hospital environment.
• Commitment to quality outcomes and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience operating physiotherapy equipment such as IDD therapy devices.
