Physiotherapist – Hospital Rehabilitation Team

About the role

The Physiotherapist will join a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team at Deira Medical Center, providing assessment, treatment and education to patients with musculoskeletal, neurological and post‑surgical conditions. The role involves delivering evidence‑based physiotherapy interventions in a hospital setting while ensuring patient safety and quality of care.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients to identify physical problems and develop individualized treatment programs.
• Provide physiotherapy for joint, spinal and neurological conditions, including post‑operative and post‑stroke rehabilitation.
• Document patient case notes, collect statistics and report adverse clinical events.
• Educate patients and caregivers on injury prevention and condition management.
• Maintain physiotherapy equipment, order supplies as needed, and ensure a safe work environment.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, quality improvement activities and continuing education.

Required profile

• Graduate from an approved physiotherapy program with a current DHA license to practice in Dubai.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in physical medicine or hospital physiotherapy.
• Excellent oral and written English; Arabic is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hospital setting.
