Planning Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to develop, monitor and maintain integrated project schedules for EPC projects covering engineering, procurement, construction, testing & commissioning and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update integrated project schedules, including baseline, resource‑loaded, look‑ahead and recovery schedules.
• Monitor actual progress against approved schedules, identify deviations, constraints and schedule risks, and assess impact on milestones.
• Perform critical‑path, resource, productivity and schedule analysis and recommend mitigation or recovery measures.
• Prepare progress reports, S‑curves, manpower/resource histograms, dashboards and project forecasts.
• Coordinate planning activities with engineering, procurement, construction, T&C, commercial and other project teams.
• Support delay analysis, schedule impact assessments and the preparation of Extension of Time (EOT) submissions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 8–10 years of planning and scheduling experience on EPC, infrastructure, utility or construction projects.
• Proven experience developing integrated EPC schedules from engineering through testing & commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of baseline, look‑ahead and recovery schedule development and progress measurement.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 (CPM scheduling, WBS, schedule logic, resource loading).
• Advanced MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with critical‑path analysis, resource loading, S‑curve generation and delay analysis.
