Planning Engineer - Warehouse Construction

About the role

TalentOne is looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to manage project programmes for major warehouse, logistics, industrial or large commercial construction projects. The role covers the full programme from design through to handover.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Primavera P6 baseline programmes covering design, approvals, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Monitor progress across civil works, structural steel, infrastructure, utilities, MEP and external works.
• Identify critical-path delays and prepare recovery, acceleration and mitigation plans.
• Coordinate schedules with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams.
• Maintain progress and delay records and support extension-of-time (EOT) submissions, delay analyses and contractual claims.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of construction planning and project controls experience, including 3-4 years in the UAE.
• Experience on major warehouse, logistics, industrial or large commercial construction projects is mandatory.
• PMP or a relevant professional certification preferred.

Required skills

• Advanced Primavera P6 skills and strong Excel and reporting capabilities.
• Sound knowledge of construction sequencing, resource planning and procurement cycles.
