Planning Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

The Planning Manager will lead the development, monitoring and control of construction programmes for large‑scale projects in the Middle East. You will work closely with contractors, subcontractors and utilities to ensure logical sequencing, accurate progress reporting and timely mitigation of risks.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and monitor procurement and construction schedules using Critical Path Method (CPM) techniques.
• Produce weekly and monthly progress reports, graphs and critical‑path analyses for the Project Lead.
• Review actual site progress against the baseline programme and raise early warnings for potential delays.
• Conduct independent site visits to validate contractor progress and support cost‑control assessments.
• Prepare and present Time Impact Analyses, delay investigations and Extension of Time (EoT) claims, liaising with the Project Lead and dispute resolution teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of experience in planning and project administration on large‑scale construction projects in the Middle East.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
